Assessment of Learning
Review assignment; summative quiz; formative assessments (practice games).
Arts/Technology Integration Strategy
Students will use their Chromebooks to play review games.
Learning Plan for the Week
Hook: HOW do species change?
Direct Instruction: The teacher will provide instructions for daily activities.
Guided Practice: The teacher will provide students with review assignments and games.
Independent Practice: Students will complete individual review assignments and take individual quizzes.
Closure: Students will complete a summative quiz on natural selection and evidence for evolution.
Materials/Resources: Handouts will be provided for students when needed; students should have notebooks, folders/binders, their computers, and something to write with every day. They should keep their textbooks at home for a resource.
